What I actually own

The real architecture — how it's built, how it scales, and what doesn't break. Enterprise solution design, backend systems, and the infrastructure decisions that are expensive to reverse. I'd rather spend a week on the shape of a thing than a month undoing it.

Mobile, from the start

Kotlin, Swift, Android, iOS. Cloud services, wearable development, and mobile device management. I was BES-certified early — back when BlackBerry Enterprise Server was how corporations actually ran mobile — and held some of the first BlackBerry certifications issued anywhere in the world. I co-authored BlackBerry books in the “For Dummies” series.

Beyond the phone

VR, XR, and computer vision. Enterprise mobility and device management at scale. The through-line is the same: systems that a business depends on, built so they keep working when nobody's watching them.

Where I've carried it

I've held CTO and CIO titles at other companies while building this on the side, from a different state, since 2008. EAS was never the thing we did instead of the industry. It was the thing we did while running parts of it.

Now

I'm stepping away from outside work to put this on full time. Same as Cap. The projects we parked for years are the roadmap.
