This is where people get buried.
You call somebody and say, “I need a website.” Three meetings later you are discussing your brand archetype.
Maybe you need that. Maybe you do not.
A website is one thing. Brand strategy is another. Logo design is another. Photography is another. Copywriting is another. Advertising is another. SEO work is another. Custom software is another.
We can do a lot of those things. We just do not pretend they are automatically one job.
If you have a logo you like, use it. If your photos are usable, use them. If you already know what your company does, do not pay somebody to rediscover it in a workshop.
Build the site. Look at the result. The weak points become obvious when the business is actually sitting on the screen.
Maybe the logo really does need work. Fine. Now we know why.
Maybe the photography is killing the site. Fix the photography.
Maybe customers cannot understand the service. Now copywriting has measurable value.
One problem at a time.
That is building instead of selling.
