Plymouth's Sounds of September series is scheduled to close its month of Friday-night concerts with The Retrofitz at McGee Park on Sept. 25.
The series has turned Friday evenings into a simple community ritual: live music, a park, chairs and blankets, and a reason to spend the evening in town.
Not every successful event needs complicated production. Sometimes consistency is the marketing strategy.
