We want to add another layer.
If Tracy has a bike jam, Sonora has a sidewalk sale, Plymouth has live music, Lathrop has comedy and Merced has fall farm activities, you should be able to see all of it before you decide what to do with your weekend.
Then the system should be able to narrow it.
Show me free events. Show me family events. Show me sports. Show me three cities. Show me everything within an hour. Show me food deals near the event.
The newspaper still reports the story.
It just becomes useful before the story is over.
