Historic Downtown Sonora is preparing for its third annual Downtown Sidewalk Sale on Saturday, Sept. 26 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Washington Street businesses are expected to bring specials and merchandise outside, giving visitors a reason to walk the district instead of driving directly to one destination.
For downtown merchants, coordinated events like this can do something individual advertising often cannot: make the entire district the attraction.
