Practical shallow-water boats
Develop boats around Southeast Georgia use: fishing, creeks, rivers, marsh access and practical ownership.
Georgia Skiff is being developed as a practical shallow-water boat brand with a long-term manufacturing home in Pierce County, Georgia.
We are beginning the capital-planning stage by talking to people with a real connection to Pierce County: local business owners, manufacturers, land and facility owners, experienced operators, suppliers, and people who want to see another durable product built here.
Capital only matters if there is a real operation behind it. The project is being organized around product, production, local capability and a repeatable manufacturing process.

Move from individual builds toward documented tooling, molds, workstations, quality control and repeatable production.
The long-term value is a product and manufacturing identity tied to where the boats are actually developed and built.
Pierce County is not being treated as a mailing address. The local development authority identifies manufacturing, timber, distribution and transportation companies among the county's major private employers and actively markets Pierce County for industrial growth.
The Pierce County Industrial Development Authority also highlights highway, rail, airport and port access, including proximity to the Georgia Ports Authority in Brunswick.
Final budgets and offering terms belong in approved investor documents, not in a public teaser. The operational categories, however, should be clear from day one.
Appropriate manufacturing floor space, storage, utilities, ventilation, work flow and room for controlled expansion.
Production tooling that improves repeatability instead of rebuilding the process from scratch on every hull.
Train around documented processes, quality checks and specific manufacturing stations as production grows.
Resin, fiberglass/composites, hardware, rigging, engines where applicable, safety equipment, inventory and normal operating runway.
Investment in a private company is a securities transaction. A local handshake does not erase federal or Georgia securities law.
Georgia Rule 590-4-2-.08 provides a potential intrastate path for qualifying for-profit issuers. If Georgia Skiff uses the IGE, the issuer must meet the rule and the applicable federal intrastate exemption. The Georgia notice must be filed before an offer is made in reliance on IGE. The Georgia rule currently caps consideration received in reliance on IGE at $5 million, reduced by specified securities sales during the preceding 12-month period. That is a legal ceiling—not a Georgia Skiff fundraising target.
Under the Georgia rule, an issuer relying on IGE may not accept more than $10,000 from a single purchaser unless that purchaser qualifies as an accredited investor under SEC Regulation D.
Rule 147/147A requires qualifying in-state operations and limits sales to in-state residents or persons reasonably believed to be residents. Written purchaser residency representations are required. Georgia Skiff may voluntarily narrow its own outreach further to Pierce County.
IGE requires investor funds to be deposited with a bank or depository institution authorized to do business in Georgia, and the funds must be used consistently with representations made to investors.
Rule 147/147A imposes in-state resale limitations for six months after the issuer's sale, and the issuer must provide the required notices and legends regarding resale restrictions.
Entity, ownership and security type are determined with counsel.
IGE/147A, Regulation D or another lawful path is selected.
Offering documents, risks, use of proceeds and financial information are prepared.
Required Georgia/federal notices are completed before the applicable solicitation or sale.
Residency, investor status, representations and subscription documents are checked.
Only then are funds accepted and handled through the approved banking process.
