We're Gen X. We grew up on the Oregon Trail floppy disk, the LAN-party decade, and couch co-op — and games are still how a lot of the kids we've worked with over the years find us. So we build our own and give them away. Play them with your kids — that's the whole point.
Runs on nearly anything — Windows, Mac, Linux, Android, even a tired old laptop.

We ship games when they're fun, not on a schedule. The first one is live below; more land on this page as we finish them.
Oregon Trail grit, tabletop heroes, ridiculous wagons.
A fantasy road-western for kids roughly 8–14 — and the grown-ups driving shotgun. Pick a hero, hire a crew, pick a wagon and whatever's pulling it (horses are the boring option — there's a dragon, a golem, and a flying pig), then drive 1,100-plus blocks of open road. River crossings, toll-taking ogres, bandits, a 60-card road deck of trouble, and three bosses waiting at the far end.
Another one is already on the workbench. When it's worth your time, it lands here — same deal: free, no strings.
The workshop doesn't sleep much. Watch this space.
Everything here runs on the free Luanti engine and readable Lua. Kids who ask "how'd they do that?" can just open the hood and look.
Orginz Trail
One file, one install, one very long road.
Six heroes — Goonie, Nelwyn, Ent, Orc, Half-Orc, Critter — each with stats, a signature trick, and an attitude. Pick lad or lass.
Hunter, medic, mechanic, fighter, scout, cook — take up to four. They ride the wagon, walk to their finds, and roll their specialty when trouble hits.
Stagecoach, covered schooner, gypsy vardo, or freight flatbed — then pick your draft. Horses, a retired golem, a luck dragon, a flying pig, a Pop-Tart cat, or a penguin.
Real steering, real reverse, real jackknife if you back up sloppy. The wagon is a rolling home — three cars with rooms kids can walk around inside.
Five scenario stops, a 60-card deck of road trouble, mud, stampedes, dust storms, bandits, and riddle-locked gates. BULL THROUGH always works — it just costs you.
A big ogre, a swamp king, and an elder dragon stand between your family and the end of the trail. Fight smart or pay the toll.
How to play
Orginz Trail runs on Luanti — the free, open-source game engine (the same one you may know as Minetest). The engine is free forever, works on nearly any computer or Android phone, and ours is a game pack that drops right into it.

Can't find it? In Luanti's main menu open the Content tab — there’s a button that opens your user folder directly.
One computer hosts, everyone else joins — no internet needed. In Luanti, the parent opens the Host Server tab, picks the world, sets a password, and the kids join by the computer's local address from Join Game. Family road trip, no strangers.
The whole game is plain Lua — the same scripting language Roblox uses — sitting in one readable file. Curious kids can open it in any text editor, see exactly how a boss fight or a jackknife works, and change it. That's how a couple of us got our start.
For parents
The games we give away are the games we play with our own kids — and the kids we've worked with over the years. Here's what that means in practice:
No trial, no ads, no gems, no energy meter, no "premium" tier. Download it once and it's yours.
Single-player runs entirely on your own machine — no account, no chat, nobody else in the world but your kid and their crew.
No telemetry, no analytics, no sign-in. The game never phones home — it can't, there's nothing to phone home to.
It's genuinely more fun with two people — one drives, one calls the shots at stops. Roughly ages 8–14 solo; younger kids do great with a parent steering.
