Goes to a real person, sugar -- not some ol' queue.
The useful part of the EAS stack is not any individual AI brand. It is the identity, routing and staged review process around the work.
From an engineering perspective, the reason for requiring a client-accessible AI tool is straightforward: we do not want the human/client interface disconnected from the project pipeline.
The client needs a minimum working environment. EAS then handles the larger orchestration around the case.
Ai.Id is the persistent identity layer we use to associate project context with the human and the case. It is not the same thing as a vendor account, chat history or one model’s memory.
The identity gives us a stable way to route relevant context and instructions through different stages without pretending every tool has the same job.
A useful multi-agent process does not ask every model the same question and vote on the answer.
Our agents, actuals, oracles and datasets can be assigned different responsibilities. One may attack assumptions. One may protect original intent. One may look specifically for implementation failure. Another may validate a narrow domain issue. Another may work from a dataset rather than generative intuition.
Devin is not our minimum client interface. It sits higher in the engineering workflow and generally becomes more relevant later, when engineers are working through implementation-level tasks.
That is why a designer, small-business owner or early-stage concept client should not assume they are required to have Devin. It is invoked when the process calls for it.
We are not selling allegiance to a model company. The requirement is functional. We need a minimum client-side AI workbench that can participate in the handoff and collaboration process.
If the tools change over time, the process can change with them. The architecture matters more than the logo on the login screen.
One rule, five angles. This is one of five Gazette pieces explaining the same EAS AI-access policy for different readers.
Tell us what stage the project is at. We will tell you what the workflow actually requires from your side -- no more, no less.
