Savannah City Council approved a temporary advisory committee on Sept. 24 to develop 5-to-10-year recommendations for the city-owned Bacon Park Golf Course, Savannah Agenda reported.
The committee is expected to report within six months, and the city says it intends for the course to remain publicly owned and accessible. A 100th-anniversary celebration is scheduled for Oct. 2.
