The short version
We set two kinds of cookies: anonymous analytics cookies, and a session cookie if you log into one of our prototypes. That's it. We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site trackers, retargeting pixels, or anything that follows you around the web.
Cookies we set
| Cookie | Why it's there | How long |
|---|---|---|
Google Analytics (_ga, _ga_*) | Tells us which pages get read — pages visited, approximate location, device and browser type — in aggregate only. Served through Google Tag Manager under Google's privacy policy. | Up to 2 years |
| Prototype session cookie | Keeps you signed in if you create an account on one of our live prototypes or demos. | Session / until logout |
| Preference cookies | Small settings a page remembers for you (for example, a form's saved choices). | Varies |
Cookies we do not set
- No advertising or marketing cookies.
- No cross-site tracking or retargeting.
- No social-media pixels planted for third parties.
Third-party embeds
Some pages embed third-party content — YouTube videos (privacy-enhanced mode), Facebook content, or Google Drive documents. Loading an embed may let that provider set its own cookies under its own policy, the same as visiting their site directly. We don't control or read those cookies.
How to turn cookies off
- Analytics: any standard content blocker or "do not track" tool stops them — the site works fine without analytics.
- All cookies: your browser settings can block or clear cookies site-wide. Blocking everything still lets you read the whole site; prototype logins are the only feature that needs a cookie to work.
Changes
If our cookie use changes, this page changes with it — check the "last updated" date above.
